Jobson Research Releases Second Coronavirus ECP Impact Survey

Jobson Research has issued the second wave of its coronavirus ECP survey. It builds on the strong response to its first outreach earlier this week on U.S. eye care professionals’ views about the coronavirus’ impact on their practices and optical businesses. The survey asks ECPs to provide responses on a range of topics connected to the pandemic. It is open until 8 p.m. eastern on March 19. Jobson Research, VMAIL, Review of Optometric Business, Women In Optometry and Review of Myopia Management are all distributing the survey.

The first survey, covering March 13 – March 16, reflected ECPs’ concerns about the financial impact on their business. It also asked about steps they had taken to date in patient communications and other matters in the midst of a very fluid and fast-changing situation. Women In Optometry reported on the first study’s highlights on Monday, March 16.

All eye care professionals are encouraged to take the new survey, whether they took the first survey or not. There is no charge to take part. The complete results of the first study, and, soon, the current one, will be posted at no charge on the Jobson Research site.
