Creating a Special Place for a Kids’ Corner

This back-to-school season, we’re looking at six doctors who we have featured on WO‘s The Physical Space who have created unique places for children in their practices. These spaces were designed to help kids feel safe, comfortable and to have some fun while waiting for their own exam or for their parents. For example, Dr. Kayla Gaddis opened her office in an former retail store and turned what used to be a fitting room into a kids’ nook. Dr. Arlene Espiritu has a romper room where children can decompress and relax.

Click on each photo to read the doctor’s story and how the kids’ space fits into the overall design, and read more design stories on WO‘s The Physical Space.
