The June lineup of new frames from The McGee Group matches the optimism and freedom that accompanies an American summer.
Vera Bradley is one of The McGee Group’s most iconic brands and 10 new frames ensure there is something for everyone this summer. Danna, available in Bloom Boom and Sunflowers, is a classic, rounded shape with an uplift at the corners and a Vera Bradley metal foil logo and recessed metal bar décor. Emberleigh, also available in Bloom Boom and Sunflowers, is an easy-to-wear frame with a reverse bevel that offers an angular detail at the top. Felicity is a soft, pilot-shaped frame with a basket weave cutout endpiece that has square baguette stone décor. Available in Prairie Paisley, it also features polarized lenses. Georgette, which comes in Sunflowers, is a recoloring of a best-selling frame with an acetate insert featuring the design pattern in the metal eye rim.
Iona, available in Prairie Paisley and Sunflowers, is a full metal, angular sun frame with an
upper outer corner featuring a contrast matte décor effect. Kendra, also available in Prairie
Paisley and Sunflowers, features a unique, color blocked tortoise acetate front with tapered
acetate capped with a metal décor that leads to a thin metal temple and acetate temple tips. It also boasts G-15 polarized lenses.
Leesha, available in Citrus Paisley and Plum Pansies, is a two-tone laminated frame with an
uplifted silhouette. It features genuine recessed leather décor on its temple and a casted metal incorporated spring hinge that streamlines the interior of the frame for comfort and fit. Marta, which is available in Citrus Paisley and Sunflowers, is a lightweight, stainless steel frame with a shiny metal eye rim and recessed extended matte brow. Available in Citrus Paisley and Prairie Paisley, Shaun features a color blocked tortoise acetate
front with a slight bevel on its eye rim, as well as sleek, tapered metal temples and its signature Vera Bradley pattern on the temple tips. Tillery, available in Prairie Paisley and Sunflowers, is a flattering, semi-rimless frame with a matte and shiny metal combination that creates a two-tone effect. It also has its Vera Bradley pattern extending down its temples.
Four new frames from Life is Good are sure to please, such as Ari, available in Blue and Grey, which is a classic frame with an angular front bridge. It has a modern, high matte finish with a highly decorative end piece. Jules, available in Blush and Grey, is a soft, cat eye shape with an exaggerated eye rim and its crystal acetate transitions to floral acetate corners and temples. Kit, which comes in Black and Red, is a rounded, geometric shaped frame with a flat metal and raised shiny eye rim to create depth and shape, while thin metal temples complete the look.
Shay, available in Blue and Brown, is a classic, easy to wear shape with a double laminate
crystal front and slight milling at the top.
Mr Turk has two new frames on the market in June, including Gilbert, available in Silver and
Gold with a full titanium frame and smaller, retro-rounded shape. Wagner, available in Silver and Gold, is a full titanium frame in a classic aviator shape with a thin hinge for a sleeker profile.
Rounding out the June lineup is Totally Rimless with six new frames, including Bandwidth 350 which is available in Brown and Gunmetal. Its stainless steel frame features a colored epoxy detail on the temples and a large 55 size rectangular shape. Gilde 353, available in Blue and Dark Brown, is a lightweight, minimalist and flexible titanium frame with a deep rectangular eye shape that is available in Blue and Dark Brown. Kalon 352, available in Gunmetal and Light Brown, is a stainless steel frame in a soft hexagon shape with a
custom-made tubular temple design to accommodate a front-loaded spring hinge.
Meraki 355, available in Brown and Light Silver, is a soft rectangular shape with an uplift at its corners with a unique metal twist temple design. Moonglade 351 is a unisex frame in a
rectangular shape with a vertical pin that creates less clutter in the eye line. Available in Blue and Light Brown, it also features a cutout end piece and lined texture temples.
Verbena 354, available in Brown and Light Blue, boasts a butterfly eye shape with a minimalist temple design.
